Attorney Javier Perez presented on a panel on Covid 19's Impact on the Hispanic Community at the State Bar of Texas 2020 Annual Meeting. Focusing on the over-representation of ethnic minorities among Essential Workers, Mr. Perez observed that the under-availability of Personal Protective Equipment to those workers would "disproportionately and adversely affect communities of color where they are working in closer proximity to one another and that sort of risk is very high in terms of [COVID-19] spreading."
